Frank Krom

Frank Krom began his career as a trainee assistant director on Paul Verhoeven’s ‘Spetters’. He then worked as assistant director and then as casting director for many Dutch films. As a director, Frank made his debut with the short film ‘Spelen of Sterven’ after a story by Anna Blaman. In addition to a number of documentaries, Frank directed the TV series ‘Bloedverwanten’ and ‘Charlie’ with Halina Reijn. His most renowned work is directing the very successful musical drama ‘t Schaep met de 5 pooten’ and the sequel series ‘t Vrije Schaep, ‘t Spaanse Schaep’, ’t Schaep in Mokum’ and ‘Schaep Ahoy’. In addition to directing, Frank was creative producer of the series and won the Nipkowschijf. Frank has extensive experience and an affinity for drama and comedy and musical imagination.
